US5881 is a unipolar Hall effect sensor IC manufactured using mixed signal CMOS technology.
It combines advanced chopping stabilization technology to provide accurate and stable magnetic switching points.
In addition to the applications listed above, this sensor has many other applications. The design, specifications, and performance have been optimized for solid-state switch applications.
The output transistor will turn on (BOP) in the presence of a strong enough South Pole magnetic field facing the packaging label side.
Similarly, in the presence of a weak southern magnetic field, the output will be turned off (BRP) and remain turned off under the "0" magnetic field.
The SOT-23 device is the opposite of the UA packaging. SOT-23 output transistor will turn on (BOP) in the presence of a strong enough North Pole magnetic field affected by the marking surface
