The LM397MFX/NOPB device is a single voltage comparator with input common mode, including grounding. The LM397MFX/NOPB is designed to operate on a 5V to 30V single power supply or a separate power supply. Its low power supply current is almost independent of the size of the power supply voltage. LM397MFX/NOPB has a collector open circuit output stage. This allows for the connection of an external resistor at the output end. By connecting resistors to different voltage levels (level converters), the output can be directly connected to TTL, CMOS, and other logic levels. LM397 adopts a space saving 5-pin SOT-23 package and is compatible with TI's single channel differential comparator TL331 pin.
