TOSHIBA TC78H670FTG ultra compact stepper motor driver
The Toshiba TC78H670FTG ultra compact stepper motor driver is a powerful and flexible two-phase bipolar stepper motor driver that uses a PWM chopper and has a built-in dual H-bridge. This motor is suitable for industrial, consumer, and healthcare equipment that requires high integration of 1 to 4 batteries or 12V power supply. The TC78H670FTG stepper motor driver can operate in the voltage range of 2.5V to 16V and has a 2A output current processing capability. This motor driver has a resolution of 128 levels and can provide ultra precision control without the need for complex closed-loop design. The TC78H670FTG stepper motor driver allows full step, half step, quarter step, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, and 1/128 step operations.

The TC78H670FTG stepper motor driver integrates a built-in Advanced Current Detection System (ACDS) for current protection without the need for resistor detection. This saves both costs and circuit board space. This driver provides thermal shutdown (TSD), overcurrent shutdown, motor load open circuit, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) error detection functions, and has flag output function. The TC78H670FTG stepper motor driver can flexibly control speed and direction in simple clock input or host supported serial interfaces. The motor driver adopts a compact and high heat dissipation efficiency QFN16 package.
